Classic Asteroids :
Play the game up to level 15. While you are in level 15 you will sea a green framed asteroid. Shoot the green asteroid and you will be told that the original asteroids has been unlocked. If you complete level 15 you can then save the game to make sure that you can play the original game anytime.
Classic Asteroids the Easy Way :
At the title screen, where Press Start is flashing, hold Start and then press Circle, Circle, Circle, Triangle, Square, Square, Circle.

When "Press Start" appears at the title screen, hold Select and press Triangle, Circle, Circle, Triangle, Square, Circle, Square.

Level Select:
Square, Triangle, Circle, Triangle, Triangle, Square, Circle Once in the game, you can change levels and zones and turn collision off by:
1. During game play, press Select and Start simultaneously
2. Select level, zone, and collision state using the directional pad
3. Press L1
Unlock Fourth Ship...the hard way:
Beat the game at expert or hardcore.
Armageddon:
To get armageddon without getting the power up simply hold the fire button for 5 seconds then release. This can be done in 2 player mode too.
